Democracy for Citizens' Party Deputy Party Leader Cleophas Malala this evening has stated that the Western Kenya region is extra ready to support Musalia Mudavadi's 2032 State House bid, if only he humbles himself and rallies behind Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, who is driving the Linda Mwananchi political vehicle.
Speaking as quoted by KTN News, Malala has said that unlike in the past, where various Western Kenya region leaders used to backstab each other and plan the downfall of their fellow leaders, 2027 will present a defining moment where the region will vote as a bloc.
"Sisi tumesema, Musalia ni Baba yetu. In 2032, tutamsupport Musalia Mudavadi lakini 2027, lazima tusimame na ndugu yetu Edwin Watenya Sifuna," Malala said.
At the same time, there have been concerns that President William Ruto could be planning to ditch Mudavadi for Ruto, after an exclusive report by KTN News revealed that a number of members selected by the UDA Party to negotiate with ODM are allies of Wetang'ula.
